WPC: products and application examples

WPC made by JELU can be used in all areas of life. Our premixed compounds have passed all relevant tests so that they are suitable for further processing to produce toys or household products.

WPC granulates from JELU have already proven optimal performance in many different applications – both in injection moulding and extrusion. You will find a small selection of product samples and application examples in our gallery.

Toy bricks from wood plastic composite from JELU — The toy bricks were manufactured from JELU WPC granulate using injection moulding. The biocompound consists of PP and contains 50% cellulose fibres.

Cups made from WPC are used in catering — The industrially compostable cups are used in catering. The WPC granulate from JELU consists of PLA and 50% bigger wood fibres.

Compostable and disposable cutlery from JELU WPC — The disposable cutlery from JELU WPC granulate is industrially compostable. It was manufactured using a compound that consists of PLA and 50% wood fibres.

Bottles made from PP and 5 per cent wood fibres — The bottles were manufactured from JELU WPC granulate using extrusion blow moulding. The granulate mainly consists of PE and contains 5 % wood fibres.

Furniture legs from JELU WPC — The adjustable furniture legs were manufactured from JELUPLAST® by injection moulding. The WPC granulate on PP basis has a wood fibre content of 50%.

Buttons manufactured from JELU WPC by injection moulding — The buttons were manufactured from JELUPLAST® by injection moulding and subsequently marbled. The WPC granulate on PP basis contains 50% cellulose fibres.

The buttons from JELU WPC were manufactured using injection moulding — The buttons consist of PP and have a wood fibre content of 50%. They were manufactured from JELUPLAST® using injection moulding.

If WPC from JELU is manufactured from TPS and wood fibres, then the reels are compostable. — The reels were manufactured from PP and 50% ultra-fine wood fibres using the injection moulding technique.

WPC aus lebensmittelechtem Kunststoff mit Cellulosefasern. — The planter was manufactured from JELU WPC granulate: the PP-based WPC granulate consists of 50% cellulose.

Raised bed from WPC panels: This raised bed was made from WPC panels that were manufactured from JELUPLAST® by Predl.

WPC composter: This composter is also made from WPC panels. The panels were manufactured from JELUPLAST® by Predl.

Fence made from JELU's WPC granulate — The fence was made from JELUPLAST®, JELU’s WPC granulate, using extrusion.

Pool deck and deckings boards manufactured from JELU WPC granulate — Both the pool deck and the decking boards were manufactured from JELU WPC granulate using the extrusion technique.

The most common WPC applications are currently profiles and deckings. However, the new biocomposite is much more versatile, and the potential applications are far from being exhausted.
