WPC for industrial applications: JELUPLAST
We have developed our WPC granulates for use in industrial processing. The biocomposites are suitable for conventional plastics processing machines, and have a proven track record in injection moulding and extrusion. Please ask for our product samples and test pieces.
Depending on the type and amount of ingredients, our premixed compounds have different properties. While some of them are 100% organic and completely compostable, others are resistant to the weather.
In addition to our own compounds, we offer custom-made WPC, which is optimised especially for your application by means of additives. We can quickly determine the composition that is suitable for your application by talking to you. Please call us.
The plastics we use for our WPC granulates are:

Polypropylene (PP)
Recycled polymers (PE, PP)
Polylactic acid (PLA)
Other plastics are also suitable for making biocomposites. Please contact us if you are looking for a WPC that is based on another plastic material.
The fibres we use for our WPC granulates are:
Wood fibres
Cellulose
We only process wood from certified, regional and sustainably managed forests for our WPC. JELU is certified for PEFC’s Chain of Custody. Our WPC granulates only contain fibres from selected woods that have clearly defined qualities. We only use processed fibres that meet certain criteria, such as having a fixed grain size and being of the same type of wood. Thus we are able to reliably set the physical-mechanical properties of our biocomposites to specific values.
